hold me

sometimes i go crazy looking through the martha stewart website. it pushes me off the bridge in the aspect that i want to have my own apartment or house right now, today. i love living in a dorm, but sometimes i really want to put nails and screws in the wall.
back to ms. stewart, i've been receiving pretty good emails from her -- and most of these have to do with organizing, but realistically i might start using them as inspiration to make homemade gifts. here are a few of the best of my "organizing tip of the day" emails:
1. sewing kit in a jar.
2. recycle an old towel to hold bathroom toiletries.
3. take vintage soap dishes and mount them on a wall to hold keys and small widgets.

beautiful rooms of sleep

1. this room is perfect in so many ways. i love the floors, but i adore the bed frame and the wooden beam.
2. i love the wooden panels behind the bed.
3. beautiful white wooden floors and bed frame.

comfort quilting

it's good for any pillow, blanket, or quilt: uneven squares.

create a seat

if i made this, i would rather have it for a coffee table than a bench. i like the magazine storage.

neat bed frame: especially the end.

look, i love lamp.

3-D wall tiles

i can't decide if i ever would use these for a wall [simply because i love flat walls]. however, it would be neat for garage doors, maybe. if used indoor, it would look better for ceilings than walls.

re:modern

i can't even remember what these were for, but it would be neat wallpaper. i mean, that might have been what it was originally used for. i just want a huge stack of paper of these prints. i wouldn't mind seeing what it would look like on furniture.

oh, and i found it on re:modern website. it's similar to ikea, i suppose. i like it.

storage units

these are really neat, knitted, storage containers that can be hung by my bed for next school year.
